Our team is here for you
We want our guests to be comfortable, to feel good and to enjoy life. To achieve this, we have put together a team with very different and diverse qualifications. This means that professional help is possible in every situation.
The people in our team use their professional knowledge to ensure that our guests receive the support they need. We combine professional standards with personal commitment and human attention.
The professional concept of our day care St. Franziskus has been developed by our team; it is continuously improved together.
Our team includes nurses, geriatric nurses, caregivers (according to § 53c SGB XI), nursing assistants, a social worker and people who complete a voluntary social year (FSJ) with us.
Our house concept
Our day care St. Franziskus in the GFO Center Klostergarten Bornheim-Merten is aimed at people with support needs and guests who are looking for connection and address. It thus provides a meaningful and necessary supplement to home care. At the same time, caregivers are relieved of the heavy responsibility they bear on a daily basis.

Nursing and medical care
The necessary support in basic and treatment care is provided within the framework of the day structure. Care and nursing in day care (including accompanying therapy) are appropriately and sensibly coordinated with the service providers of home care according to the wishes of the guests.
Treatment care is provided by our nursing staff in accordance with the doctor's orders. The contact person for the doctors remains the guest himself or his caregiver. Direct contact with the attending physician is only established after consultation and in case of emergency.
